The Table of Contents and Chapter 1 from the forthcoming book, “Oracle Essbase & Oracle OLAP: The Guide to Oracle’s Multidimensional Solution” are posted on the Oracle Press web site under “downloads” on the left side of the book’s web site.  Of course, we hope that this excerpt causes you to purchase the whole book, but the first chapter, titled “Introduction to OLAP” is presented in its entirety—no strings attached.  The entire table of contents is also posted so you can see what else is covered in the book.

Chris Claterbos and I and several of the other authors will be at Oracle Open World Bookstore 2:15pm-3:00pm on Tuesday, October 13 signing copies while they last!  According to my contacts at Oracle Press, the book is going to be shipped directly from the printer to the Moscone Center, so the copies will be “hot off the presses!”.  See you there.
