One of the great new features of the Data Visualization option with Oracle Analytics is the ability to create your own custom visualizations with an SDK provided by Oracle. In the past, with the Answers interface, we had to inject custom code into OBI using narrative views. Getting custom visualizations to interact with the delivered ones, or print, was nearly impossible. Now, with the SDK, we can easily create custom visualizations that participate as first-class citizens in the UI and can interact with native visualizations and controls as well as print and export.
