Hands-on training is a great way to provide training. But how do you provide hands-on training to a group of IT professionals on the intricacies of enterprise-class server environment? Providing only one training server is fraught with the danger of one student bringing down the system for everyone. Providing servers for each attendee can be very complicated and expensive. We will demonstrate how you can use any typical classroom computer to provide training for even the most hardware-hungry of enterprise software by using Amazon Web Services (AWS) and the Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2). We will go over how to use the EC2 environment and the methods we use to prepare our training environments to make them bullet-proof, even with the most curious of class attendees.
