The Vlamis Method is a disciplined methodology and is derived from the Department of Commerce Architecture Capability Maturity Model (CMM). It is adapted to serve three contexts of business intelligence and analytics, Executive, Business Line and Technical. The Vlamis Method is about the specificiation and development of software solutions specific to cross-functional Business Intelligence (BI). With CMM, BI can be considered a process instead of a project which will yield higher value to the business.
